In other news Tech Fair was last week and we killed it, despite being Pre-Grad and having technical difficulties i think we got our technical advisor/professor off our case about us being a shitty team...mainly because he believes that i am an inadequate leader...just because my attendance isn't perfect, jerk...anyways i am starting to sound like a chick...not cool...right,

So my brother is fucking shit up in South Carolina....

The long and short of it is he got busted out of a preppy public school and is now stuck in boot camp Alternative Learning Center school for delinquents and fuck-ups. Its funny really, check this out:

Just back from appointment at ALC. To say they don’t fool around is an understatement. By the end of the meeting, Andrew was Yes M’amming like crazy. When you address any staff member there you are to say Yes/No M’am or Yes/No Sir. Believe me the grounds are not nearly (by a long shot) as opulent as White Knoll, strict dress code, collared shirts tucked in and belted at the waste (no sagging around the hips). No pack sacks, pencil cases, wallets. If Andrew chooses to bring a lunch it has to be in a plastic see thru bag. He is only allowed to bring a binder, paper a pen and pencil to school and the pen and pencil must be tucked into the binder. No cell phones, no IPods, PDAs, A list of rules as long as your arm. Should Andrew violate any of their rules, the police are called and charges are laid (without question). Should he break the rules he is immediately expelled on the spot, no suspension, no hearing, just plain gone.

So other news about him is a few weeks ago he took my mom's car for a joyride at 9am while he was at home being suspended from school, and he hit another car and fled the scene with the car...and didn't tell anyone so he had to go in and talk to the police sergeant

Also just back from the cop shop. The sergeant did not go easy on Andrew verbally. He charged him with driving w/o a license and following too closely. He didn’t throw the book at him with charges, but let me tell you he ripped him a new asshole in no uncertain terms. He is going to recommend 250 to 300 hours of community service to pay-off tickets. As he said your mom and dad are going to have to pay enough just for the damage to the vehicles, I don’t intend them to have to pay out of their pockets for your fines, you will work off those with sweat and plenty of it. By the end of the meeting (1+hours) Andrew was very contrite, to say the least. As the sergeant told Andrew if when you get home your parents tell you to stand on your head and eat your dinner that is exactly what you will do. Furthermore, unless they tell you to do something that will harm you or anyone else, you will do it or they will call me and I will put a world of hurt on you.

So its fun stuff there...not so much looking forward to visiting at the end of the month. my flight leaves at 8:30am on the 21st....yay for early morning,,ghah!

In other news, still single, still bored, things are settling with roommates and stuff, i just hope Dan can stop freaking about the bloody bank form and get it filled out. I want to go redo the lease ASAP i don't wanna get screwed like i did with Scott. Fucker skipped out leaving me (being the only lease holders till living here) with 1800 owing in past due rent. Luckily we convinced dave to come and pay for it and then take it out of Scott's hide when he finds him.

Exams are next week, and i am set for everything except economics. Possibly the only class i can't wing the exam as i showed up sporadically during the term, and i only know bits and parts. Hopefully Gurpreet can fill in the blanks on Wednesday. My career development mock interview is this friday and i have to do this job search research assignment, i have to print off 20 job postings and research 3 of them. On top of all that i still need to complete my Feasibility Report for a week this Thursday and whatever programming that gets assigned Wednesday.

So its 4am again and i am still awake...i need to stop watching downloaded tv series late into the morning...ghad i need a life. something to tire me out before sleep time. heh....i had an idea--

Wow this is turning into a lengthy post. Hrmm...should i update more often.

I want to buy a new computer but i gotta keep reminding myself i don't need to, i built the one i am using 6 months ago and it still works most of the time. its just not as fast as i hoped, i guess thats what happens when everyting u bought for it gets discontinued 1 month after u get it. On top of all that i know decided i want a new tv....

Oh and another fun note i broke my watch again...i think its time to ask for a new watch for xmas, the watch i have now (broken twice, fixed once -- wrist band pin) has 3 dials inside the watch face, showing day, day of week and hour based on 24 hour system, plus ur standard watch face in the plain and center. I have had the watch since my 16th b-day i think...being 21 now....WOW i am 21, i just realized that despite my b-day being a month ago....anyways i think i need a new watch, plus the old one is getting majorly scratched up. ..its a timex i might just suggest getting another timex but i want a nice looking one with the dials inside, something that looks good and defiantly not cheap (read: less then 80)...looking into it looks like the type of watch i am looking for is a Dress Watch

Xmas gift planning is awesome even tho u might only get 1 of the 32 things u ask for. Like i need to get a suit, a new watch, maybe new sunglasses, something cool from ThinkGeek, other than xbox 360 games (for my new xbox 360) i dunno whatelse i want other than the usual peace on earth and to find a better half for me. Think i have been good enough all year?...LOL!!!

So talk about my luck lately.

so a couple weeks ago my cellphone got lost, luckily turned up later that day at Kipling and Steeles, recovered that without a muggings. Then a week after that i lost my iPod, fearing it lost for good i bought a new MP3 player, SanDisk SANSA e250, 2gb, rechargeable, flash mp3 with add-on mini-sd card.

Found the missing iPod a day after i bought the new one tho, but looks like my parents will buy the old ipod from me for my brother's birthday.

Going to see my parents in Lexington, SC the 20th-26th. Should be interesting, I get to boil my ass off in 40 degree weather. I am going to buy a Police Scanner, should be cool.

Getting my History Essays completed, got 1 of the two i am handing in done, gotta review it tho for passive voice, then i get to start on my history paper, woot for 1 weeks left of classes.

So now tonite i lost my cellphone again, i think i dropped it in buddy from work's car. gonna go back to where he parked it tomorrow and check the ground. Then i am going to go ask him at work tomorrow. I swear my electronics are making a mass exodus. First my cellphone, then my iPod now my cellphone again. You think they are trying to tell me something?

My horroscope tells me to get my spending undercontrol. I guess thats a good idea, i do have 4k in Credit Cards and -300 on my checking, get paid tomorrow, 450 dollars, 45 dollars in tech dollars, pretty good. 150 to last me two weeks, then i get another 400 dollars, gonna save 250 of that for the radio i think, gonna try to buy a new cell in the coming months, if i keep getting 400 every paycheck, at 250 each paycheck, i can afford it in a month.

Gonna move my phone from bell to rogers home phone, save me 15 ish bucks a month, so thats 5 bucks each.

2 weeks of classes left...wow, so little time to do a programming project, networking group assignment and histroy project...not to mention the database assignment. Here's hoping i get everything done in time

So guess who i run into, of all people, at the bus stop in York today. Kathryn Scobie...i am 99% sure it was her. Ofcourse i didn't say anything to her, I wonder how she's doing. She didn't even acknowledge me, so i assume she still won't talk to me. Heh, was an interesting start of the day.

Grawgh! Again i can't sleep...well actually if i got to bed right now i won't wake up in the morning in time for class...gawd! And i haven't even played any WoW tonite.

Boss tells me today i can come in as early as i can this week for work, because they have extra hours...good news because i get more money, i do nothing between school and work anyways so its a plus.

I should be able to get some tech work done tomorrow...actually live up to my posting of Resident Technician.

I have given up on MySpace...so useless, why do we need sites like that...unno...

I have discovered NewsGroups for downloading, its pretty nice and it has a neat feature that allows one to actually repair a broken download, pretty nifty!

I think i am going to change my phone from Bell to Rogers, save me 10 bucks, split 3 way the savings is closer to 3.25, but i guess its worth it to ensure i get my bill EACH month...with anyluck i can convince rogers to save me some extra money

Snowboarding and Apple

Snowboarding on saturday was amazingly sweet. It took me two runs before i got back into the swing of things and i was good for a beginner. heh...took out a little kid while going down for the last time of the night, i had slipped and my board whipped around and hit the kid square in the boots and took him down. (he was perfectly fine and got back up and kept going) Had to stop after 4 and a half hours tho, my knees were seriously starting to hurt.

While i was snowboarding tho my mp3 player (which i had in the elbow pocket) got hit hard when i took a spill and thats how i destroyed the screen on the poor thing

Broken Screen

To replace the broken screened mp3 player i went out and spend 300 dollars on a 1 gb iPod nano and hard aluminum case and product replacement plan.

the guy at futureshop said i should call some number and try to get a credit for the broken unit, so if that happens i am gonna go back and get the 2 gig one.

A development on the job front, my dad's friend has hooked me up with under the table cash paying job where all i do for him is tear down computer workstations and put them back up somewhere else, 4 hour min pay at 15 bucks an hour, i am definatly happy.

Well i am going to go learn how to use an ipod now, ttyal

Last night justin was talking about going to bluemoutain, snowboarding tomorrow and i said i was definatly in. After 4 years i finally get to go snowboarding again. Justin and Will went to some ski hill under the Sheppard Bridge and justin called tonite and said he ass was sore and he would call tomorrow and tell me whether or not he would be going saturday. And as he has the car that seriously would mess things up. He had never gone snowboarding before so i know he will be sore tomorrow.

So monday the 20th i get his stuff in mail, but i didn't know that yet. This was Monday of this week so my cold was getting into full swing. Corey logs onto msn and messages me minutes before i get up that he has to talk. He tells me that he isn't moving in anymore, he is gonna move in with his uncle for free...a week and a half before march i couldn't believe it i freaked but i didn't show it to him. he offered to move in if i can't find anyone. So after a week of asking others to move in, they all said no because of too short a notice. So today i had to take corey up on his offer. and he was pleasant about it so i am happy now.

This week as also my midterm week, i did a networking midterm sick and then the psych one recovering. I got a 57 on the networking one, and i think i got a 66 in psych which is a weird switch up.

I bought lotto tickets on friday the 3rd of feb, and its the 24th today and so far out of the 2 lines each lotto for 6/49, super 7 and pay day, i am still in the payday and the 6/49. *knock on wood*

Been hanging out a lot with Josh, Joe, Justin and Will...i think its good for me, i have noticed it has become more natural feeling for me to have a comeback. Like today Scott said something about Dave hanging out with me and thats a new low, i shot back with "Well atleast We are aloud to leave the house" (Backnote: scott is helplessly whipped by his not-so-hot girlfriend who won't let him spend his own money or go out of the house) and i completely floored Scott i was pretty proud of myself.

In other news...damn i have alot of things i can talk about...

When i got back to toronto in january i came down with what i think was Whooping Cough or Acute Brochitis. It was horrible, it finally went away 2 weeks ago, then this sunday i came down with a nasty cold/virus/something but i am nearly over it now, thankfully.

So I can't remember now when but it was a couple weeks into January but Chris (i have 2 roomates, Chris (I DETEST him very much so) and Dave (he is a wasteoid pot smoker)) finally told me he was moving out in end of Febuary so i am so happy about this. So I asked Corey if he wanted to move in because he was getting into RCC. and he said yea we arranged some stuff, he got accepted into RCC and he signed his part of the lease agreement Feb 4th. He was missing a couple things so he had to mail them to me. Well after alot of pestering him and his dad got the shit in the mail.

So this is 2006...wow!

Its 2006 and the world is still here....BOOORRING! heh, spent New Years at Shannon's with James, Alison, Shannon, Janine and Ashleigh. It was fun in all, a tad tame...must convince them to do something more interesting next year, or hell next time we get together. I didn't know we weren't spending the night there until after i got there and started drinking, so i ended up getting a ride back home from Shannon, gotta go back and get the car tomorrow. I wonder if anything crazy like last year happened at Slack's tonite.

I caught glimpses of Dick Clark tonite, wow did he ever sound bad, i hope for his sake he doesn't do another new years show. Grr...i need some tylenol, i got a headache...

So i am going to try to get back to Toronto on tuesday, that will give me wednesday to chill out before i work on thursday. Then i got the new term starting on the following monday. Wow term 5, after that i got 3 more terms then i get my degree. Whats nice is i only have 4 classes this term, Psychology, Networking, Project Management, Web Design/Internet.

So i have recieved 4 outta 5 midterms:

Statistics: 86%
Database: 87%
Management: 72%
Programming: 96%

Still waiting on Systems, which is tomorrow. So programming i tied the smartest programmer student in my class and another classmate, a books-type student.

This is what i have for my as of midterm marks in my classes:

Programming: 97%
Math: 82%
Databse: 84%

I know i got a 60ish management mark, so i am hoping for like a 3.80 GPA this term, which is wonderful.

So i turn 20 on the 13th Gonna go back to Brantford for it, and anyone in brantford, or wanna come down to brantford to celebrate with me are very welcome]

I get in Saturday the 12th around 2ish, and leave Monday the 14th in the evening. So planning on going out saturday or sunday

So my mp3 player (my third) is broken, i can no longer get sound to come thru the headphone jack without it cutting in and out, so i am going to have to bring it back to Future Shop and claim warrenty. This is a bitch for sure. So i started playing FF7 last night and i get to the first save point and i go to save and its like, no memory card found,...i click it a few times figuring its just my imagination, but no its not working and i am like fuck~! thenn i remember something Mat told me about needing a PS1 mem card for PS1 games, so i had to buy a memory card, but i should get lots of use out of it as i will be using it for the other PS1 games.

So here is a proper entry,

I came home for a week and its been the pretty dull. Not the worst but not great. I have gone to play pool 3 times this week. Won twice. Got my first break ace :) If it weren't for janine's party on saturday i probably would have gone back early.

I realize just how much i hated living at home tho. My mom lost her job almost a month ago and has gone into a tailspin. Its horrible, drinking way too much!! :( I fixed up a website she had made so that she can get a small business loan, she is making a slow crawl back into employment. Its quite sad to watch really.

I received all my school marks:

Systems: 86% (A, 4.0)

Networking: 79% (B, 3.9)

Speech: 60% (C, 2.0)

Accounting: 65% (C, 2.5)

Programming: 85% (A, 4.0)

That gave me a term GPA of 3.12 out of 4 and a culminative of 3.46 compared to a 3.67 culminative as of last term.

So its gradually going down but still a B, i am happy. What i was really happy about is i aced my programming final :) :)

So, turns out my speech teacher had messed up the marking scheme and i was passing speech ever since my 2nd speech :), i did my last speech on thrusday and go 88% on it, so i finish the course with a 58% !! :)

Had a good weekend, i am going hom on the 12th and coming home on the 21st, should be fun, gonna be strapped for cash but that shouldn't be much of a problem. I got 4 exams this week,Networking, Accounting Systems (project presentation) and Programming, mon-thursday respectivly.

Fell asleep last night at 8pm, i was so exhausted after my radio broadcast, the downside was i woke at 1am and was up all night long. Oh well.

SO, last friday on my way home i dropped off my resume and completed application form @ Kelsey's for a Waiter or Bartender position, and i get home from Staples today to a message from Chris that Kelsey's called and i have an interview @ 3pm on wednesday !!!!!! YES!!!! Another job opourtunity :) And that Wednesday i will be nice dressed because of my systems presentation so i will be able to make a good impression :)

I hope i get this job, staples is just being unreasonable, 4 hours last week 6 this week, it is fucking rediculous

So fingers crossed, i am going to start prepping to study for my Networking exam.
